How to Store Your Parka

To help preserve your Canada Goose jacket for years to come, it’s important to store it away during the warmer months. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to pack your parka for the off-season.

  1. Make sure you store your jacket in the cleanest condition possible. Dirt, sweat and oils will degrade the fabrics over time. Refer to the product care label on your garment for specific wash care instructions.
  2. If possible, remove the fur and hang it vertically to allow the hide and hairs free movement.
  3. Let the parka hang freely on a wide hanger. For best results, store it in a dark, moisture-free environment.
  4. Use a breathable garment bag for protection from dust and dirt.
  5. Avoid compressing your Canada Goose jacket into crammed spaces. If storage space is minimal, we suggest removing the fur and tumble-drying the garment on low heat with a couple of clean tennis balls after a long season of hibernation. This will help to fluff up the down for a fresh effect. Remember, only tumble dry your jacket if it doesn’t have fur or if the fur is removable.

How to Clean your Crofton & Cypress Puffer Boot

  1. Upper
    • Use the Premium Brush along with the Solution from the Essential Kit. See below for technique:
    • Dry Brush: Use a dry premium brush to remove loose dirt and debris from the nylon.
    • Premium Brush: Nylon can be very delicate and may fray. It is very important to always use a premium brush and not a standard brush when cleaning nylon.
    • Clean: Apply a liberal amount of solution to the premium brush and dip into a bowl of water. Shake excess liquid and begin to brush the nylon. Go over stains multiple times to remove.
    • lean Water: After cleaning, there may be excess solution still absorbed in the nylon. We suggest brushing over the nylon with a clean premium brush and clean water to wash out excess solution.
    • Dry: Take a microfiber towel and dry the nylon thoroughly.
  2. Quick Tips
    • Do not use standard brush on nylon
    • Wait for nylon to completely dry before wear
    • Repel after cleaning
  3. Sole
    • Use standard brush and solution from Essential Kit to brush off and then clean dirt off the sole.
    • Dry Brush: Use a dry standard brush to remove loose dirt and debris from the nylon.
    • Clean: Apply a liberal amount of solution to the premium brush and dip into a bowl of water. Shake excess liquid and begin to brush the nylon. Go over stains multiple times to remove.
    • Dry: Take a microfiber towel and wipe down and dry shoe

Additional Tips:

  • If your boots need more substantial cleaning, apply the Jason Markk Premium Solution on your brush after dipping it in the water. This Premium Solution is formulated with natural ingredients, completely biodegradable, and is safe to use on your Canada Goose footwear.
  • Clean boots regularly after use in snow and ice to prevent build-up of salt and grit.
  • We recommend using Jason Markk Repel Spray to extend the durability and waterproofing effect. This light mist will act as a breathable barrier that effectively repels liquids and stains and its water-based formula is safe to use on your Canada Goose footwear.
  • Store in a dry place out of direct sunlight when not wearing. Store the boots in their case with tissue paper inside to maintain shape.
